FAQs
-
brow lamination is a professional beauty treatment designed to give your eyebrows a fuller, smoother, and more defined look. think of it as a “perm” for your brows, but instead of curling hair, it works by relaxing and setting brow hairs in place so they can be brushed into the desired shape.
-
relaxing the hair – a gentle solution is applied to soften the brow hairs so they can be reshaped.
setting the shape – the brows are brushed into the desired direction (often upward for a fluffy, lifted effect), then a neutralizer is applied to lock them in place.
nourishing – a conditioning treatment is usually added at the end to keep brows hydrated and healthy.
-
brows appear fuller, thicker, and more uniform.
gaps or sparse areas can look more filled in.
lasts about 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare.
-
After Brow Lamination (especially first 24–48 hours):
❌ Water or steam (showers, saunas, swimming) – can break down the setting solution.
❌ Makeup on or around the brows – foundation, brow products, etc. can disrupt the shape.
❌ Oils, balms, or oil-based cleansers – can soften and reverse the lamination faster.
❌ Exfoliating products or retinols – may irritate freshly treated skin.
❌ Sleeping face-down – can press brows out of shape while they’re still setting.✅ After the first couple of days, you can resume most of your normal skincare—but avoiding oil-heavy products directly on your brows will help them last longer. Keeping brows brushed into place daily and using a brow conditioning serum or nourishing oil (lightly, after 48 hours) can also keep the hairs healthy.
-
❌ Retinols, AHAs, BHAs, or exfoliating acids – can make skin more sensitive.
❌ Self-tanner or tanning products on/around the brow area – may cause uneven color.
❌ Strong skincare treatments (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, waxing, threading) – can irritate the skin.
❌ Heavy oils or rich creams on brows – may prevent the solution from working properly.
